Transport Research Arena (TRA) 2024 took place in Dublin, Ireland from Monday 15 to Thursday 18 April.
The theme for TRA2024 was “Transport Transitions: Advancing Sustainable and Inclusive Mobility”.
TRA, the Transport Research Arena, is the foremost European transport event that covers all transport modes and all aspects of mobility. It is the largest European research and technology conference on transport and mobility.
Transport Research Arena (TRA) offers a great venue for researchers, policymakers and industry representatives to get together and contribute to the discussion on how research and innovation can reshape the transport and mobility system. The conference provides a unique opportunity to hear about mobility trends in different parts of Europe, learn from achievements in the industry as well as share best practices of policies and deployments.

EVENTS had a two-fold representation:
- A paper & poster entitled “Towards collective perception hybrid testing in a roundabout scenario with AVs“, jointly prepared by ICCS & TECN, was presented by Dr. Bill Roungas from ICCS. The poster is available here , the paper is available here and the presentation is available here.
- EVENTS was showcased in the Innovate UK stand, along with several European funded projects, such as Hi-Drive and ROADIVEW. A speech was also delivered in the area of the Innovate UK stand by Prof. Mehrdad Dianati, from WMG. His presentation is available here.
