The 16th ITS European Congress 2025, held in the beautiful city of Seville, Spain, took place between 19th to 21st of May 2025.
Organised by ERTICO – ITS Europe, this year’s Congress brought together thought leaders, innovators, policy-makers, and transport professionals from across Europe and beyond to explore the future of smart mobility and digital transport solutions. The flagship 2025 event for Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) in Europe, united 3000 experts from mobility, technology, and policy to advance key European mobility and sustainability initiatives.
With over 100 sessions, the European Programme Committee delivered an insightful agenda that reinforced the Congress’s thought leadership and highlighted the urgent need to accelerate ITS deployment across Europe.
EVENTS, along with the projects of EU Road Safety Cluster, participated in a Special Interested Session, namely Session 58: “Road Safety Innovation through Advanced Technologies for Resilient Mobility”.
The session, hosted by the EU Road Safety Cluster (AI4CCAM, EVENTSproject22, FRODDO EU Project, HEIDI EU Project, Phoebe Project, ProtAct-Us, SOTERIA EU Project, and V4SAFETY project), brought together key voices in research and innovation to present how EU-funded projects are advancing inclusive, safe, and resilient mobility systems across Europe.
