On the 15th of April 2026, ICCS team participated in the 8th IRTAD International Conference, held in Athens on 15–17 April 2026, a key global event bringing together experts to advance road safety through better data and analysis, organized by the International Transport Forum (ITF/OECD), the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) and the Hellenic Institute of Transportation Engineers (HITE).
Represented by the I-SENSE Group of ICCS, the EVENTS project actively contributed to discussions shaping the future of safer and smarter mobility systems during the SOTERIA Project workshop, organised on the first conference day.
Dr Bill Roungas, Project Manager of EVENTS, presented the key project results and outcomes, focusing on the hybrid validation of V2X Collection Perception in Complex Scenarios that the project tackled within its research scope.
